How about one-on-one coaching sessions for your physical and spiritual goals and breakthroughs?
We will have daily devotional times as we stretch our bodies as well as in-depth Bible studies and teaching. You will learn how to study your Bible, pray, and hear from God. You will also receive one-on-one coaching with Pastor, teacher, & author, Colette Schaffer to help guide you on your faith journey.
The Black Hills of South Dakota is the perfect backdrop for a break from your busy schedule. Your senses will be awakened as you take in the refreshing morning air and the aroma of the warm pine trees. Get ready for your soul to be rested and awakened to the best version of yourself.
We will learn practical ways to care for our bodies through exercise and diet. Personal trainer, Lillian McLeod-Schaffer will lead you through workouts as well as give one-on-one coaching. We will also take part in gourmet meals and snacks – and even take part in a cooking class.
Lillian is an exercise physiologist and yoga teacher. She graduated with a bachelors in Health and Exercise science, and has been immersed in the health coaching world. Early on, Lillian recognized that there was a disastrous “one-size-fits-all” mentality in many health communities. But what works for one body (and personality) may not work for another. Lillian believes that taking the right small steps can lead to sustainable health transformation.
Colette is a writer, speaker, and recovering perfectionist. This teacher at heart, and by profession, will encourage and equip you to dive deep into God's Word so you can apply it to every part of your life--spirit, soul, and body. Colette and her husband have served as pastors since 2006. She has written two books; Expecting Jesus: An Advent Devotional and Planted: A Guided Study to Produce a Peace-Filled Life in an Anxiety-Filled World.
Julie is our personal chef for the retreat. She currently resides in Tulsa where she has been cooking professionally for about 2 years, but food has always been her passion.
"I love cooking with all types of food! Working with vegetables has been my most recent passion, but apart from that, I love working with pasta and bread!"
